Do You add anyting to your Coffee?
why it matters
Some of you know that water can completely change how your
coffee tastes. When we add things sometimes it helps other
times it doesn't.
Some coffees go great with milk, but for others it may not pair
so well and ruin your cup. A little sugar or sweetener can add
or hinder it too, it can bring out the natural flavours or
overpower them. We'll recommend the coffees that work best
with you and what you like.

What roast level do you usually enjoy?
why it matters
Each roaster has their own scale to define how
light or dark their beans are roasted. This means
that one roasters light could be another's medium
or medium-light. We've come up with our own
Coffie Hub scale to make sure you get what
you're expecting.

Your favourite flavours in Coffee?
why it matters
Taste is a subjective thing and while none of the
coffee's on CoffieHub have added flavours or
ingredients (just pure coffee!) they can taste
completely different based on where they're from,
how they were processed and how they were
roasted.
For traditional tastes most cafes serve coffee with
hints of nuts, often South American beans.
Hints of something different chocolate or fruity
coffees will still deliver that great taste, with
subtle hints of something different.
Surprising and unconventional coffees will usually
have fruity and floral hints, with a lighter roast.

Which grind?
why it matters
Have you ever seen a coffee shop not ground their coffee fresh
for you? When your coffee is ground fresh for each cup/batch it
will taste drastically better than pre-ground coffee, not to
mention all that beautiful aroma that will fill the room.
The reality is that once coffee is ground, it is fully oxidised within
10 minutes after grinding. Meaning the staling stage is
happening almost immediately.
But isn't a grinder really expensive? You might think, but we've
done our best to find the best quality and affordable options for
you. Our hand grinders with a really good burr set around €40.00
and our electric burr grinders start at €75.00.
If you want an electric grinder you should always buy a Burr
grinder over a blade grinder. That make sure everything is
ground the same size which will reduce inconsistent and
unbalanced cups of coffee.
